Now that you're bit more familiar with the CSS Styles panel, and you've seen how to create some basic rules through the Page Properties dialog box, it's now time to learn how to create our own rules via the Styles panel. Again, Page Properties is a very basic way of creating styles, and if you're really serious about using CSS on your web site, you need to start working with the CSS panel and start learning how to write your own styles. So, the last thing we need is to establish some basic knowledge about CSS Selectors. A Selector defines what element a Declaration block should be applied to. There are quite a few CSS Selectors available, but we're only going to be working with the most commonly used Selectors; mainly Type, Class, ID, and Pseudo-Class.
