Hi, I am James Williamson, Director of Training at Lodestone Digital, and I am an Adobe Certified Master Instructor. Welcome to Dreamweaver CS3 Beyond the Basics. In this title we will talk about taking your Dreamweaver skills to the next level. On screen, you will see the Cheek Chastain Gallery site that serves as the basis for all of our exercise files. In this title we will discuss improving your Dreamweaver workflow, working with XML and dynamic data, and we will explore Dreamweaver CS3's new Spry capabilities and much more. Let me take you on a brief tour of some of the areas in the site that we are going to build.

So in our Shows section, we are going to create an interactive overview of the Current Show using the Spry framework. So if I browse down, notice that we can sort our panes by price or by name. We have an Accordion widget, which will show us the current painting's image, its description, a note from the artist, and if we select one of the paintings, it will update the image on the right hand side. For dynamic data, we will build out a record set of our artists and then populate the artists' description pages and their bios with dynamic data. In our next movie, we will have a brief discussion about how to set up your exercise files if you will be following along with them, and then we will get started.
