Digitally inking non-lettering areas

- So we're gonna begin digitally inking this hand-lettered portrait. And you saw where I left off. I placed this image, I tinted it back on its layer, so the opacity is such that it kind of fades back and it'll work as a guide to my drawing. And we'll just click on the Draw Layer above it, and this is the layer we'll start drawing on. Now, the unfortunate thing right now, as Adobe Draw exists, is you can't name your layers, so all your layers are gonna be called Draw Layer, which is kinda ridiculous, in my opinion, but that's the way it is. So if you don't see me name layers, you know why. Eventually, I'm assuming they're gonna change that functionality a bit. As it exists right now, this is the way it is. So I like to organize my files so five years down the road if I open up a file again, I know what's going on because I don't wanna have to remember everything. So it makes more sense to do that. So the first thing I start of with is I wanna ink out the non-letter forms. Those are…
