A rectangle using absolute coordinates
- [Instructor] We're staying in our 11_UsingCoordinates.dwg file. What we're going to look at now is drawing a rectangle in DraftSight using absolute coordinates only. Now, you'll notice that I've left the drawing in the same state as it was at the end of the last video. So you see there's our lines there that we produced using our coordinates. There's our little short diagonal there on the bottom left corner. Now I'm not going to worry about any of those right now. What I am going to do is I'm now going to create a little table inside our little sort of room boundary, and I'm going to use absolute coordinates only to place it. So let's get our layer right first time, Layers panel on the home tab there on the ribbon. Click on the dropdown and we'll go back to our I-FURN, our internal furniture layer. Now, I'm going to go up to the rectangle command on the Draw panel, so there's the Draw panel. Click on the fly out there, and I want rectangle, and I come into the graphics area. As you…
