Using Options
- [Instructor] When you first start up DraftSight and open up a drawing like we have here, the 01_introduction.dwg file, all of your settings within DraftSight are defined in a thing called your DraftSight Options. Now, how do you get access to those options? Those options set up all the things such as your display, and your units, and how everything works, and how you plot, and what you save as, what file type, and so on. Now, those options are available in a number of ways. Now, you'll notice that I'm in the Drafting and Annotation workspace for this particular video. So make sure at the top of the screen, here, you're using your Drafting and Annotation workspace, and then I'm going to go up to the main menu by clicking on the DraftSight symbol there. And you'll see on the menu there that we've got the Options option, if you'll pardon the pun. If I click on Options, that will open up the Options dialog box.
