Setting layer properties and layer options
- [Instructor] Once again, we're staying in our 06_UsingLayers.dwg file. What we're going to look at now is setting our layer properties and also layer options. What layer options do we have available to us when we're working in DraftSight? Now, I've already shown you how to set some of the layer properties and settings in the layer dropdown in the previous video. And I've left the drawing in the same state as it was at the end of the previous video as well. So, we're going to go back to the Home tab on the ribbon, into the Layers panel, and we're going to open up our layer manager like so. Now, the current layer is the I-PARTITION layer, so let's scroll up to that. And we'll just click on it like so. Highlights it in a nice blue so that you can see what you're doing. Now, setting your layer properties. Now your layer properties here are all set by layer. So, what that means is anything drawn on the I-PARTITION layer will adopt these layer properties.
