Setting the layer LineStyle
- [Instructor] So once again, we're in our 15_Layers.dwg file. What we're going to look at now is line style, so let's jump into the drawing and look at changing our line style. Now, I'm going to stick with the architectural walls, like we did in the previous video, and there are already some line styles loaded up in this particular drawing. I'm going to go to the Layers panel on the Home tab on the ribbon and into the Layer Manager, like so. I'm going to scroll up using the slider bar to find my A-WALL layer, there, like so. Now, the line style at the moment is a Continuous line. I can click there, click on the dropdown, and select Dash, like so. When I click on OK, you can see it's now using a dashed line style for those lines that form the architectural walls. Now, the reason that it's adopted that particular line style is because all of those lines are drawn on that layer and they're using the ByLayer setting.
