Drawing a Hexagon
- [Instructor] We're staying in our 16_OtherCommands.dwg file. What we're going to look at this time around is drawing a hexagon. Which is a six sided polygon. Now a polygon in DraftSight is basically a polyline joined by its vertices. So you specify the number of sides, in essence going around a circle and a center point. And what DraftSight does, is it calculates the polygon from the number of sides, and the center point that you give. So we're going to draw a hexagon. A six sided polygon. And it's going to represent a desk lamp on the two small desks that we have at the bottom of our plan of room 30. So I'm going to zoom in. Just use the wheel on the mouse. Get the pointer down at the desks there. And roll up on the wheel, and maybe pan a little to get them central on the screen. Now I'm on the furniture layer as I was in the previous video.
