The Drafting and Annotation workspace
- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in our DraftSight Essentials course. And what we're going to be looking at is the drafting and annotation interface. We've got a nice new drawing for you to follow. It is a copy of the drawing from the previous chapter, but the idea being is you'll have a new drawing per chapter. So the new drawing you have is 03_DraftingAnnotationInterface.dwg. You can see the name of the file at the top of the screen there, and you can download it from the website for your use to follow along with all of the videos in this chapter. Now, we're going to stay in the drafting and annotation interface now for the rest of the course. It is the default interface when you start up DraftSight, in my case, DraftSight 2017. So that's the workspace that we're going to be working in. It's the interface we're going to be using. You can see the ribbon there at the top of the screen.
