Installing Docker for Windows

- [Instructor] Installing Docker for Windows is easy to do. Here, on the docker.com home page, if we go to Products and down to Docker Desktop and then click on Docker for Windows, and scroll down here, you can see there are two different editions available for us to download. There is the Stable Channel which is the best channel for a reliable Docker Platform, and then there is the Edge Channel, which you can think of as the beta edition, or kind of the cutting edge edition of Docker. In our case, I want to make sure that I show you the latest and greatest features, so we're going to use the Edge Channel when we download Docker for Windows. And by the time you're watching this course, as fast as Docker is releasing new versions, the version that we download from the Edge Channel may actually be in the Stable Channel. So we'll click Get Docker CE for Windows, the Edge Channel, and it'll take just a moment to download the roughly 500 megabyte executable. With Docker for Windows…
