Install a text editor
- [Instructor] So let's install a text editor. Now, you can use whatever editor you like. I'm going to use Atom, and if you want to download Atom, let's head over to atom.io and install it from there. So I've got a Windows machine, so I'm going to select Download here. I'm going to save the Atom installation file in my Downloads folder. And once that file has been downloaded, I select Open. And this will take a couple of minutes to install. So Atom is up and running, so just to ensure that I don't get these prompts and tabs again, I'm going to uncheck Show Welcome Guide when opening Atom. I'm going to close the Welcome Guide. I'm going to close the Welcome tab. I'm going to select Yes, I want to help improve Atom. And because we look at some Python code later in the course, let's go ahead and install the autocomplete-python package.
