- [Instructor] Dimension has added an export UVs function to complement its existing material and decal features. You can think of the UV as a map for how an image will be applied to the model. With an exported UV map, you use Photoshop to design and place images that will fit perfectly in alignment with the details of the model. I've started a scene for us here that has a drink carton and tall box models from the starter assets. We'll start by exporting a UV for the drink carton. I'll select on it, and then go up to the object menu, and we'll find export UVs at the bottom. From here, we need to choose a resolution and a location. I'm going to leave the defaults, but there's a number of options here for resolution. And then I'll export this UV back into the exercise folder. So let's jump out to the finder and find that file we just exported. That's the one that's called Drink Carton UV, the file that was exported from…
