- It's very easy to go from Dimension to Photoshop to edit a graphic or image material. We saw this in the Illustrator chapter and it works exactly the same for Photoshop graphics. Dimension recognizes the application that created the graphic or image and opens it there. I'll start by demonstrating with the fur on this couch here, I'll double-click to get into the fur material and then open the base color image. It's a good idea to pause here and take a look at the icons that are at the top of this panel here. The first icon, this link icon reminds us that this image is linked to a Creative Cloud library. We place the image from the library over here. If I go into Photoshop and make edits to it, it's going to get changed in the library and everywhere else this image has been used. If I want to create a second version of the couch without updating the first one, I need to break the link to the library. Clicking this icon will break that link.
