About the Introduction to Graphic Design practicals
- [Tony] Graphic design is everywhere you look. And think for a moment about any publication you look at or anything you watch. Think about the packaging of your favorite food and drinks. Think about the clothing you wear, the interface of the phone or your device that you may be holding at the moment, everywhere. The intro to graphic design course or as we affectionately call it here ITU GD, teaches the basic concepts of graphic design and this practical course and others like it, take you through a project in Adobe Dimension where you will apply some of those concepts just as you may do in the real world. Although it's been made easy enough to follow if you're new to the software, this course is not an introduction to dimension as such. And if you are keen to learn more then you could check out the essential training courses by my friend, the lovely Theresa Jackson. My name is Tony Harmer and my career spans almost four decades in the creative industry. And I've been in several different roles during that time and managed to build up a lot of practical experience. I'm also an accredited expert in all of the Adobe Creative Cloud design apps. So you're in good hands, I promise you. And I am really excited that you're here. So let's get started and begin this ITU GD project in Adobe Dimension.
