- [Instructor] Consumers usually want to know more about the authors of the books that they are purchasing, so it is best to include biographies of the contributors of your book in your metadata feed. There are actually two locations where you can include contributor biographies in an ONIX file. In the contributor section and in the text content section. Let's take a look at the ONIX file. We talked in detail about contributor information in an earlier video in this course. Like the other data in this section, the biography you include here is intended to be specifically related to this author. It is best to write this bio in a more general way, talking about the contributor's background, influences, education, and other relevant details. You can include information about the author's most important works, and details about their personal life that are relevant or interesting.
