Xamarin forms provides a framework to write one UI in a shared project, and use it in all the mobile apps. This reduces the duplication of UI code across projects, but it does bring up one issue. How do you make exceptions for a specific platform while remaining in the Xamarin Forms project? This tutorial looks at the OnPlatform element and the Device class which introduce the ability to make platform specific variations in the platform neutral code.
