Word processors
- Word processors are one of the simplest, yet most effective tools you can use to build your resume. They're a great tool if you're a first-time resume builder and you want to ease into the process. There are many great word processing tools for building a resume, both online as well as native applications. The first native application we'll take a look at is Microsoft Word. Word is an easy-to-use word processor that provides built-in resume templates for you to use. It is a paid application, unlike some of the other applications we'll see in this video, but it provides you with all of the tools you'll need to build a great resume. Simply open Microsoft Word, click on the Resume template provided in the Getting Started panel, and begin designing.
