Types of experience-based techniques

- [Instructor] While there are a variety of tools designed to assess the software for both white box and black box testing, there are instances where the software is rushed into quality, and needs results. The software might be in a premature state or it's completely new to the quality team. While good quality teams hold rigid to a plan, flexibility is also critical. The techniques used in experience-based testing are meant to be thorough and founded on the same strict flow of any other testing approach. However, these techniques obviously aren't spelled out like they might be in a test plan. It's on the tester to take an approach that will deliver repeatable thorough testing, but with less preparation and more focus on leveraging the knowledge gained from exploring the software in the past.
