- [Instructor] So I'm here in a blank Java project … that I've created I've named it, Swing, … and for those of you following along … with the exercise files, you're going to see … a directory pop up on your screen, … that's what I want you to set as your work space … in order to follow along. … So once you've done that, … select your source folder and then click … this fly-out menu next to that new button … we just added when we added our extension. … And under Swing choose Application Window. … Give it a package name, … give the project a name, I'll call mine Swingbasics … and then hit Return or Enter … or the Finish button to create Swingbasics.Java. … So in here we have our main function, … and then we have some other existing methods. … So this is just some template code, … we're going to look at what this code does a little bit … later on and how to customize it to your liking. … But with that created, I want to show you … the Design tab down here, it's at the bottom of editor. …
