- [Instructor] The daily stand-up meeting is used for small-scale feedback. It takes place every 24 hours. The stand-up meeting is the daily feedback cycle to inspect progress on the iteration plan and make adjustments to the team's work so the team completes the plan successfully. To succeed at our iteration plan, we check in with each other every 24 hours. This is a daily feedback loop. It's a tool to help us deliver on our iteration plan. We use it to gauge our progress on the iteration plan and to make adjustments so we succeed by the end of the iteration. Given this tool, the daily stand-up meeting, teams are able to self-manage. They inspect their own progress toward completing their iteration plan. If they need to reorganize the work, they do so. If they need help, they ask for it. If they notice something blocking them from success, they get it out of their way. To keep the meeting brief, people typically stand up during the meeting. That's how the meeting got its name. The…
