Sprint planning
- [Instructor] The agile ceremonies that many software development teams follow such as sprint planning can be a confusing place for software testers. It's hard to know how to get the most out of these meetings. My mindset used to be that I was testing the output of these meetings. So whilst I was passively involved, I wasn't participating as much as I probably should have to get the most out of them. It was only after a number of occasions where a seemingly simple development task would be scored into story points but have a huge testing impact that I started to actively include myself in the meetings and conversations to try and make others aware of the impact to testing. I realized that I could very easily become overloaded with work through no fault of the rest of the team.
