- [Instructor] Tools are an important part of performance testing. So let's take a quick survey of some of the tools that are out there. There are some tools that give you insight into how pages on your site might perform for any given user. These are often tools that you can quickly get started with and help give some feedback on the performance of your site. The first tool in this category is one we've seen already. WEBPAGETEST.org. To use this tool, you just need to go to the site, put in the URL for your site into the field, and start the test, so it's very simple to use and very straightforward. Now it doesn't really let you do load testing; you can't send a whole bunch of different users to it all at the same time but it gives you information around other things that are very interesting for performance testing.
