Scalability testing

- [Instructor] Many modern applications are built on cloud computing platforms like AWS, or Azure. One of the features that has attracted companies to use these kind of platforms, is the ease of scalability. So obviously scalability testing is something that's important in this world as well. Scalability just means that many compute resources, things like CPU and memory will scale up and down as you need them. This means that if you have periods of low usage, maybe at night, or on a weekend, the site can scale down to use less compute resources and thus cost less. But if you have traffic increases due to a new product launch, or something like that, the compute resources that you need will dynamically scale up, allowing the site to continue to function normally.
