- [Instructor] Once testing is complete and all the results have been incorporated into the product, it enters the release stage. This is a time for guarded celebration, as you have contributed throughout the process to the delivery of a product. However, just because it's now in the hands of the customer, testing isn't complete. During the release, taking the software from prototype to production is the focus of the execution. That can include things like complicated information technology resources being used to make the product available to customers, marketing creating a splash about the new application, and prepping customer support. This process is a lot more complicated than just posting it online for people to grab. Quality has two roles in the release stage.
