- Setting aside time for teams to regularly reflect is an important part of agile culture. So the popular term that you'll hear to describe this activity is a retrospective, and that's a term that was popularized by Norman Kerth in his book, "Project Retrospectives: A Handbook for Team Reviews." Retrospectives are really powerful tools, and they help teams learn and grow together. And personally, this is one of my favorite parts about working on an agile team, because it's really powerful to think about how we might be able to continuously improve and get better, but I also love it because it's a great way to connect on a personal level with all of the different people on my team. Now that word, connection, is really important, and we can't get to connection without psychological safety. Psychological safety is critical for reflection, because we need to be able to talk about all of those things that may not have been so great.…
