- Having a clearly defined personal brand can totally allevate the imposter syndrome. What is an imposter syndrome? It's nothing but self doubting and it's just not early on in your career, you can have time to time in your personal and professional life and the best thing you can do to address and combat it is basically ask the questions and do the self-reflection. That's very important. If you're ever in self-doubt at any point in your career or life, you know, I would ask these questions. You know, what is your personal brand? What are your strengths? What are those unique traits that makes you, right? Don't be afraid to address the 800 pound gorilla in the room. What are your fears? What is holding back to achieve what you set yourself as short term and long term goals? And then drill into each of them and start addressing that. Failures, they are part and parcel of the life. The key is what did we learn from those failures? How did we use them to redefine our priorities and focus areas and how did we ensure that we did not make the same mistakes again? Failure makes you a more resilient person. It gives you experiences to handle similar situations in a much more mature way. It actually helps you to build the personal brand because you can stitch your own story. What did you learn from the failure? How did you handle it? How will you do things differently if you encounter similar situation again?
