Parting thoughts

- If you listen to this entire conversation and if you want to take away one piece of advice, it would be consciously invest in your sponsors. To identify your sponsors be very strategic with them and make sure that you articulate what you want out of the relationship. You want to think about who is the person that's going to help me get to the next level, and do not muddle the waters between the sponsor and the mentor. That's very, very important. Keep the relationship warm, and be very articulate about what you expect from the relationship. Don't assume that because you're working hard for someone someone will know what you want and by default think about you. Remember that with sponsors there are a lot of people that they are in communication with, and you have to be really clear about what you want.
