- [Mike] Trying to decide on most things is difficult, but when that decision is what tool to use when performing your software testing, it can be a minefield. With a wide spectrum of software testing methodologies out there, it's difficult to know which tool to pick for each of them, or even where to start. Do you go for a paid license version or do you stick with open source? What if you want to learn a different skill, but don't know which tool to pick? Through this course, we'll discuss some of the most popular software testing tools on the market, both paid and open source, covering many of the software testing disciplines from low testing, security, and automation. I'm Mike Smith, and as a software tester with nearly 10 years of experience, I've used my fair share of software testing tools. Many of the tools I talk about in this course have become regular additions in my tests tool go bag, and I'm excited to share them with you.
