Kali is a distribution of Linux aimed specifically at the penetration testing community. Its wide selection of tools includes WI-FI hacking, port scanning and traffic manipulation. Kali Linux has everything you could want to start finding and exploiting vulnerabilities within software and infrastructure. Bear in mind that this is a completely separate operating system so the learning curve is steep if you are planning on making security testing your focus.
