- [Instructor] Let's talk statistics. Now don't get scared off here. Were aren't going to get lost in the weeds, but this is an important topic to consider with performance testing. Some performing testing tools provide you with graphs and plots that let you visualize the data, but if you're running these tests in a more automated fashion, you might be looking at summaries of the data in some kind of numerical format. In dealing with this, it's helpful to have a bit of an understanding of some different statistical concepts. Again we're not going to dive deep on this or anything since this isn't a course on statistics, but there are a few things that we'll touch on. Let's start with one of the most fundamental, and yet, probably most important concepts in statistics: sample size. You want to pay attention to how big your sample is when you're doing any analysis.
