- Implementing a shared vision along with clear goals and objectives for a global team is so important, given the geographical distances and cultural nuisances. If you don't establish an understanding of the vision and align regional team member to it, you'll soon find team members working in silos. As a leader it is your responsibility to ensure that you take time to explain the vision to the global team. It is also important to explain to your team how corporate decisions translate into regional actions. Without this explanation the regional team members won't be able to understand why certain decisions were made at the corporate level. This can lead to the lack of trust between the team members. After you discuss the strategy and organizational goal with your global team, give them time to process the information. Keep the communication open, and let your team know that they can come back to you with any questions.…
