- [Instructor] Possibly the most important output of any quality test are the bugs discovered during test. Identifying issues is central to any project conducted by quality, but it's not the only output of the test. Still, it's what your development partners are watching for, and during the execution of the test, your skill in delivering bad news will often dictate how effective your program works. When an issue appears, take steps to verify it's actually an issue. Question your own work, and be certain what you report is irrefutable. Anomalies and incomplete bugs will only cause the development team to reject them. If the bug is exceptionally difficult to replicate, take the time to qualify the steps it took to exhibit the bug and then put context around your issue so that they understand what potential use scenarios created the issue.
