- A common scenario you might run into as a new leader is the need to realign the team to meet new goals. This often requires different skill sets than what you currently have on your team. In my experience technical teams tend to look for technical talent, even when the role does not require technical skills. They overlook good candidates with right skills for the job because they're focused on the technical competency that the role doesn't even need.
