What is GraphQL?
- Remember the time before the internet when booking travel was really complex. You'd figure out where you wanted to go and then you have to call each airline and ask them for prices and information. Then, then you'd have to figure out how to compare them and make a choice. It was a lot of work and comparing different options was really tricky because you wouldn't get the same type of information from the different airlines, so you turned to the travel agent. A service dedicated to taking your requests, sourcing information from all the different available options, contextualizing and comparing all that information, and giving it back to you in a way so you could compare the best options in an easy way. Thank you. GraphQL is that travel agent or personal shopper or academic guidance counselor for data sources.
