Testers within an agile project must be able to quickly capture notes about testing, and having the right tool for the job is essential. Something they can give you enhanced functionality, and the ability to read code easily is a great help for any software tester. Many of the software tools in this video are free to download, but also have paid options as well. Evernote is a popular tool that allows testers to pin down their thoughts during testing for later investigation. It can even be used for a screen capture, allowing you to drag and drop screenshots of bugs or software curiosities so that you can ask developers at a later stage.
