- [Instructor] Dashboards and reporting on SLOs complement their documentation and provide point-in-time snapshots of SLO performance. Both dashboards and reports are useful for communicating out the SLO compliance of your services to other teams, as well as for spotting possible correlations or problem areas of your systems over time. For example, take a look at the following SLO compliance report. It shows the overall performance of several services whether or not they met their SLOs for the previous six months and whether their SLIs were trending up or down in relation to the previous month and that same month last year. Taking a closer look, we can see that CatFactService has met all four of its four SLOs for the last six months, with month over month SLI trends staying flat and year over year SLIs trending upward.
