- As a leader you need to translate the organizational vision into an overarching goal for your team. Your team should be responsible for achieving this goal together. Creating a goal is a critical step, it binds your team together with a shared purpose. When you create a goal for your team, you should make sure that everyone can relate to it and can directly contribute to it. This can be challenging if you're leading teams with diverse skillset.
