Create an agile culture

- Everyone is doing Agile! Agile will transform your team. Agile is the best! But then you're thinking, "Why isn't it working for me?" You feel like you're doing all the right things. Standups, sprints, story points, but it's just not working out the way you've planned. If so, you're in the right place. In this course, we're going to talk about how to create an Agile culture. A set of behavioral norms that are absolutely essential for implementing Agile successfully. Why does this matter? Well, imagine trying to build a model airplane, or a model train, without the glue. You can have all the right pieces, and all the skill, but without the glue, it'll never come together. Implementing Agile is similar. There are tons of frameworks and methodologies that are really useful, just like the model pieces, but then there's the culture, the glue that hold everything together. Just like how you can't build a model without glue, Agile doesn't work when your culture doesn't support its practices. Hi, I'm Andrea Goulet. I'm the CEO of Corgibytes, a company that specializes in modernizing legacy code, and paying down technical debt. My background is in strategic communication, and over the years, I've worked on creating an Agile culture at my organization. One that's based on psychological safety, healthy communication, empathy, and trust. I've delivered keynote presentations at Agile conferences around the world, helping people, especially engineers, get really tactical and confident about implementing the squishy, people stuff. So, if you're ready to really elevate the effectiveness of your Agile practices, join me in my LinkedIn course on creating an Agile culture.
