- [Instructor] When we think of the DevOps life cycle, the familiar infinity loop comes to mind. The left half, plan, code, build, and test it's often owned by teams with a slant towards development. And the right half, release, deploy, operate, and monitor, usually belongs to teams that have an emphasis on operations. But in reality, each stage depends on teams outside of this loop. These external teams either provide input into the lifecycle or need some sort of output from it. This is where collaboration becomes vital. To get the most out of collaborating, let's use common goals to focus efforts, open communication to inform, and continuous feedback to keep everyone in the loop.
