- So tell us about your certifications. - Certifications can be a tricky subject in an interview. If you have them, that's great. I've got a number of them myself. And when you're in an interview and you're asked about them, you want to try and elaborate on them but not get into too much academic detail. After all, this panel has a literal list of your qualifications in front of them. Instead, try and think about if the course or exam were difficult. How confident you were, or if the subject matter were completely different from what you were expecting. Really talk about the stuff that isn't on your resume. Now if you don't have any software testing qualifications, that's okay too, because I'm about to share a controversial opinion with you.
