- To set up the next tip, I'd like to ask you a question. Think back over the last five years of your career. In that time, what is your highlight? That is, what did you do that you consider most important professionally, or which makes you the most proud? Pause the video and take as long as you need to decide your answer. Your highlight probably falls into one of two categories. It's either an accomplishment related to a business outcome or it's a technology-focused accomplishment. If your accomplishment was helping your company make more money or enter new markets, that's a business outcome. If your accomplishment was about learning a new language or designing a sophisticated architecture, that's more about technology.
