- [Narrator] So your team is extremely busy. Work always exceeds bandwidth, everybody wants that promotion, people are competing for that cool new project. Aspiration is the engine that drives your workforce forward and opportunity is that fuel, so you as a manager have to manage all of these forces at once and then ask yourself, how do I make time for inclusivity? (laughs) Yes, building an inclusive culture is hard enough with or without all of those additional pressures. As my debate coach used to say, "If it were easy, they'd call it football." So in order to build this inclusive culture that we have been talking about, you need to do two things at once. You want to celebrate all the things that make us different. At the same time, reconcile those differences in a way that people can still come together and work together towards this collective mission that the team as a whole shares.
