- Interviews are hard but resumes could be harder. I will go light on this since other courses cover this, but if you are a product, your resume is like an ad that is occupying somebody else's real estate as they try to balance a dozen other priorities. You will do yourself a disservice if your resume is simply a list of tools, technologies, and other jargon. I've often received resumes and wondered if there was a real human being behind all those skills or whether someone just wrote clever algorithm to compile a resume. Make sure your resume meets three key criteria. First, it should list the skills that are most germane for the role you're applying for. Second, explain what problems you have solved, why they were worth solving, and how solving them benefited your teams. . And third, measure progress and impact.
