I started at Intel, I had been working at Tektronix for only about three years at that point, so I was just, I was pretty fresh out of school. And when I started working at Intel, I was I was pretty new. I had done technical writing on and off for about six years at that point, because I'd been working during the summers. But when I came to Intel, it was, it was a higher kind of high tech than it had been at Tektronix.
Tektronix was mostly an instrument company, but at Intel I was working on operating systems. And working on operating systems, working on software that was closer to the end users, I found that that I was using my skills in different ways and being more, interacting with the users more and being more technical and getting closer to the hardware.
