They can make us feel joy, frustration, self love, they can make us feel a little shy, or even empowered like we can conquer the world. And the most powerful stories make us just feel understood. You see your stories need to be about your client, not about your talents and not about what you did. I know this is a hard concept to grasp because I struggled with this for a long time until I really understood why this mattered. So you need to make your clients the hero in your stories and I'm not talking about this type of hero although it would be pretty cool, it's not necessarily what we're trying to achieve. You want to put your client at the forefront of your stories you want to connect your work to your client's story by sharing how they felt before working with you.
