Working in layers

- So far, we've only been working on one layer, which is a completely valid way to work, but there are some good reasons to work with multiple layers as part of your regular workflow. First, it lets you try options before you commit. Now you've probably already noticed the layers palette, which by default appears on the right side of the interface. If you don't see it, go to window and make sure that your layer setting is checked and it will appear somewhere on your screen. When you open a new file, Clip Studio Paint automatically creates a new blank layer and this is what we've been drawing on. Each layer can be hidden or shown by toggling the eyeball icon right here to the left of the layer. So I can turn that off and I can turn it back on. So let's make a new layer by clicking this first icon. And the tool tip tells us new raster layer. It looks like a square with a little plus, and we automatically get a blank layer that…
