Work without a plan: Improvising: Creative Exercises to Spark Original Thinking

This activity uses walnut ink, watercolor paper, and a bamboo pen. In this video, you spill ink and draw from the abstract image. Being totally out of control can be nerve-wracking but surrendering to the happenstance of an event like an ink spill can be very liberating. Spill ink and then see what that organic shape reminds you of. You just have to work with the immediacy of what is presented to you in the moment and the results will be unprecedented.
