What does selling knowledge mean?

- Selling knowledge means getting your specialized expertise on a subject, organizing it into an easy-to-understand format, and capturing it digitally using video, audio, text, or any other tool that helps other designers consume the information easily. As little as 10 years ago, if you wanted to learn a new skill your options were extremely limited. You could enroll in a college course, but that would cost you hundreds of dollars for a single course, plus the additional lost time of traveling to and from school. You could buy a book on the subject, but the information might be dated, and there was no way to ask questions or get feedback. DVDs are still a fairly popular way to learn a subject, however DVDs are expensive and they can't be updated.
