- [Instructor] Another way to customize your user experience with Illustrator is to use custom scripts. This allows you to use functionality that Illustrator doesn't provide natively so I want to share with you two scripts that I use on every project I work on and they allow me to save my layers in Illustrator as either PDF files or native AI files. Let me show you how they work. So this was a project I worked on for the National 4-H group and it was a logo type for an event, the National Youth Science Day and you can see that design here but you can also see that I've used icons within this motif as well. While I need to deliver all the final assets to them and I want to provide each of these graphics, the logo type and all the icons independently as separate files and this is how I set up my file to do that. So I have the event logo on its own layer here and I have, for instance, the beaker icon on its own layer and all the other icons on their layers. But one thing I want to point…
