over and over throughout all my courses when building vector art is I'm going to be using smart guides. I don't always call this out since it's so ingrained in my workflow and I hardly even think about it as I create. In fact, I'm in a constant mode of toggling smart guides on and off as I create. So in this movie, I'm going to show you how I set them up and how I put them to use when I'm developing And one of those is spacing where it's trying to help you figure out where to compose your objects. And the other thing is alignment guides. It's trying to tell me, well, maybe you want to align it to the bottom part of this eye. Well, I really don't. And I find that this feature tends to get in the way and it's a little obtuse in its nature and I think it's a lot better experience for the user when you create without using those.
